What is a knitted fabric?
This is a fabric with good elasticity and extensibility, soft and comfortable feel, moisture absorption and breathability. It is a fabric formed by knitting needles and yarns bent into a loop and intertwined with each other. This fabric is generally used in clothing and home textiles, like the knitted sweater we wear in winter, the knitted cardigan jacket worn in spring and autumn, and the hole worn in summer Hole knit short sleeves, etc. These are all knitted fabrics.
There are two types of knitted fabrics: weft knitted fabrics and warp knitted fabrics.
1. Weft-knitted fabrics generally use low-elasticity/shaped polyester yarns and nylon yarns as raw materials. The advantages are good elasticity and extensibility, good hand feeling, strong fabrics, strong wrinkle resistance, and easy to wash and dry. The disadvantage is that its hygroscopicity is somewhat poor, the fabric is easy to loosen, curl, and not stiff enough, and the chemical fiber fabric is prone to fluffing, pilling, and hooking.
2. Warp-knitted fabrics generally use polyester, nylon, vinylon, polypropylene, etc. as raw materials, and some also use cotton, wool, silk, hemp, or blended yarn as raw materials. Its advantages: good vertical dimensional stability, straight fabric, thick and thick surface hair, very good hand feel, small looseness, no curling, good air permeability and other advantages. But its lateral extension, elasticity and softness are not as good as weft knitted fabrics.
Nowadays, as people's living standards change, the technology of knitted fabric wholesale manufacturers is also continuously improved, and the fabrics are more colorful and multi-functional. According to different functions and different application scenarios, different knitted fabrics have been developed to bring users The same sensory effect.
