Factors affecting the softness and smoothness of flannel fabric

At present, in the fleece fabric market, the quality of flannel fabrics is very different. When some fabric factories choose fabrics, most of them focus only on the price difference, and do not pay much attention to the difference in fabric quality. High-quality fleece fabrics are thick, silky, and soft, while poor-quality fleece fabrics are much inferior in these characteristics. The main reason lies in two points: one is the difference in raw materials, and the other is the difference in printing and dyeing processes.

First of all, the raw materials of polyester flannel fabrics are mainly flat and low-elastic filaments with ultra-fine denier fibers. The general specifications are 75D / 288F. When selecting POY raw materials, enterprises use low-quality raw materials, and reduce the process flow during texturing. As a result, the raw materials for weaving flannel are uneven, so the quality of the original woven fabrics often varies greatly.

Secondly, in the process of printing and dyeing, in order to attract more customers, printing and dyeing enterprises also make a fuss about the price, in order to reduce the process and reduce the cost. The smoothness and softness of flannel are mainly related to the ironing process. The two ironings must be guaranteed, and the time must not be short and the temperature must not be low. The quality of the fabric can be guaranteed by this process.

On the other hand, in order to reduce costs, some companies only do front-end hot ironing, shortening time and reducing temperature, and the natural quality of processed products is not guaranteed. Therefore, when choosing a fabric, a terminal processing company cannot just look at the price and ignore the difference in quality. As long as the supplier's offer is low, it will like it, and it will eventually lose its customers and products.
